What We Teach
Kyoshin-Ryu offers a well-rounded curriculum that combines traditional Japanese and modern Shotokan karate techniques. Our core focuses includes kata (forms), kobudo (weapons), and kumite (sparring). A typical class will cover various topics from these core skills in a fun, yet challenging way to develop coordination, physical fitness, athleticism, self-confidence, and self-improvement.
Whether you want your kids to develop the skills necessary to compete at a national level, or you are an adult looking to get into martial arts for the first time, or just curious, you are welcome to try out our free trial courses. Classes are offered at beginner and advanced levels for adults and children ages 5 and up.
